Terms and Conditions

General

These Terms and Conditions shall apply to the sale of the Goods by the Cadzow Bakehouse to the buyer to the exclusion of all other terms and conditions referred except where Cadzow Bakehouse has agreed to such variation in writing and by way of signature. By ordering from Cadzow Bakehouse you agree to be legally bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Conditions") and accept that these Conditions may be modified or amended and posted on this website and social media from time to time.

Allergens

The food we provide is prepared by fully trained staff using the freshest ingredients. All our baked products are made within the bakery and as such we cannot guarantee that there may be traces of allergens in the products although they have not been physically added to the recipe. For this reason we cannot provide GLUTEN FREE, products although many products may not have gluten added. Similarly, this principal applies to NUTS, SOYA, EGGS, MILK, SESAME, and SULPHUR DIOXIDE.  While we take every step to ensure customer safety in line with Natasha'a Law you, the customer are responsible for advising us of your or your guests allergies and as such Cadzow Bakehouse will not accept any liability for any loss, damage or injury from exposure to anything which might cause an allergic reaction  arising from the 14 most common food allergens (CEREAL CONTAINING GLUTEN, EGGS, FISH, PEANUTS, SOYBEANS, MILK, NUTS, MUSTARD, SESAME, LUPIN, CELERY, SULPHUR DIOXIDE, CRUSTACEANS, MOLLUSCS)

Bookings, payment & deposits

A non-refundable deposit of £20 (orders under £5 must be paid in full within 48 hrs or ordering; wedding cake deposits are £60 to save the date) must be paid within 48 hours of placing the order, payments may be made in cash  via contactless payment in store or by bank transfer. The only way to confirm a booking is through payment of a deposit. All booking enquiries that have not paid a deposit are considered to be tentative and are subject to a ‘first come first served’ policy. If you have not paid a deposit and another party requires the same date and has paid their deposit you could lose the booking. Your booking will be confirmed by email once your deposit has been paid.

Delivery

Delivery of baked goods will be arranged during the initial booking ordering process, with a £2 delivery charge being levied in the ML3 postcode,,ML1, ML9, ML10, G71 will be charged at £3; G74 East KIlbride will be £4 and G72 7** Drumsegard will be £4. Delivery charges  beyond this will be charged at £0.45 per mile from Cadzow Bakehouse (mileage according to Google maps).

Consultations

Consultations are by appointment only, however they are not applicable to bakery orders and only apply to celebration cakes and afternoon tea parties. An appointment for a consultation must be agreed with Cadzow Bakehouse by email/phone. All appointments for consultations will then be confirmed by email.

Alterations & cancellations to an order

Any alterations/amendments to your order must be confirmed via email/writing as soon as possible and may be subject to additional charges if extra work, over and above the agreed, is required. We will do our best to accommodate changes; however, we cannot guarantee this. In the event of a cancellation, work that has already been completed is still chargeable and all deposits are non-refundable.

Publication

We reserve the right to use photographs of all bakes made by Cadzow Bakehouse in any form of media to publicise and promote our business.
